What is RISA-TOT?
As the part of school-based activity to empower a team of teachers and students and community volunteers for active participation in the fight against substance abuse/addiction in the campus as well as in the community, RISA wing of Subair Kunju Foundation initiated a TRAINING OF TRAINER (TOT) program in the year 2015. The TOT achieved a new momentum after the release of our Training module by the then Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Mr. Javed Ahmed on 21 February 2017. Since then, we conducted a number of TOT sessions in international Indian schools in middle east as well as in some selected schools in Kerala, India.
Due to the ongoing COVID 19 pandemic, we switched to a modified 4 step TOT program in an ONLINE PLATFORM for the first time on 19/12/2020.
Hundreds of of candidates including community volunteers, students and teachers from various international Schools from Middle-East and schools from India participated in the TOT Webinar. The program was inaugurated by the ambassador of India to Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Dr. Ausaf Sayeed. since then RISA has been conducting online TOT sessions at intervels.
